Position Summary:

Ensures the Private Dining Program goals are successfully delivered within the framework of Gibsons Restaurant Group (GRG) philosophy and culture. Gibsons Restaurant Group culture is based upon the Core Values of Hospitality, Quality, Value and Family, and the F.E.S.W.A.L.O.P service philosophy. This role requires open availability and may require evening, weekend and holiday commitments.

Ambassador of GRG Culture:

Seek out opportunities to communicate and demonstrate the Gibsons Restaurant Group core values to team members, customers, vendors and community in a clear and positive manner. Lead by example. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Book group events for multiple locations within the group booking parameters, ensuring that sales progress seamlessly and accurately by following established process and procedures in order to meet and exceed annual sales goal.

- Responsible to sell and grow the Gibsons brand by maintaining and building client relationships. Weekly outreach to develop these relationships is expected.

- Respond to all initial inquiries in a timely manner and follow up on those inquiries to secure business. Records all client and event details into the CRM platform to ensure proper follow up.

- Close all sales by collecting client deposit, signed contracts and BEOs.

- Act as the primary contact with the client to finalize all details of their event, food, beverage, set up, rentals, etc.

- Provide accurate, complete and effective turnover to the Event Execution Team ensuring all details are outlined to meet and exceed the customer expectations.

- Attend most events to meet and greet the client and ensure a proper handoff to the onsite team.

- Confirm final billing accuracy post event and follow up with the client to ensure complete satisfaction.

- Represent GRG brand at networking events.

- Work with team to internally troubleshoot any issues that arise.

- May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

Minimum of a high school diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or other four-year degree preferred. Three to five years experience in a restaurant environment with at least one year of management experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills:

Ability to communicate professionally verbally and in writing with the public and with employees. Ability to speak, read and write English language. Ability to perform basic math skills including addition, multiplication, subtraction and percentages. Ability to make sound business decisions. Ability to analyze date and draw conclusions from the information at hand. Ability to maintain composure and poise under pressure. Strong computer knowledge and ability to learn new software programs.
